Grace Chen, DVM

Dr. Grace Chen was born in Massachusetts and grew up in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She received her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry from McGill University in Montreal and travelled to the land down under to pursue veterinary medicine in Australia at the University of Queensland. After graduation, she returned to North America; Dr. Chen completed a small animal rotating internship at BluePearl Veterinary Partners in New York City before moving to Las Vegas for her surgical internship at Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center. During her free time, she enjoys visiting museums (her favorite museum is the Guggenheim museum in Manhattan), watching ballet performances and Broadway musicals. Dr. Chen keeps herself active by jogging in the park and attending group fitness classes such as kickboxing and aerial yoga classes. Her other hobbies include baking and cake decorating.


The Las Vegas Veterinary Specialty Center is a specialty practice comprised of dedicated, board certified and residency trained doctors, licensed veterinary technicians, and support teams who are highly trained in cardiology, internal medicine, oncology, ophthalmology, surgery, neurology, and physical rehabilitation.
