Clinical Coordinator – Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Oncology

Juanita completed a Bachelor of Science degree (biology) at Eastern Mennonite University in 1995. She then pursued a Veterinary Technology degree at Blue Ridge Community College, becoming licensed in 1998. After several years in general practice in Virginia, she moved to Colorado and joined the CSU oncology team in 2001. Since then she has enjoyed a career focus on the veterinary oncology specialty, joining the LVVSC team in Aug 2006 to help start the medical oncology service. Growing with the company, Juanita was able to take on a supervisor role helping the oncology, internal medicine and cardiology services. A three year move to Denver starting in 2014 allowed Juanita to learn radiation oncology. She rejoined the LVVSC team in November 2017 resuming her role as supervisor of the medicine services. When not at work, Juanita enjoys two-step dancing with her husband, hiking, attending concerts and spending time with friends and family.
